The sculpture is sited 730m above sea level and the closest access point from the public road is over 6 miles away. Car parking is available on the B862 at 57.142601, -4.652509. A cycle/foot path leads from the parking area to a larger track heading up to the reservoir (the road is currently also in use by construction traffic for the Stronelairg wind farm). It is possible to mountain bike or walk this track to 57.102291, -4.563139. From this point a muddy and indistinct footpath leads 250m SW to the sculpture.
