Annette and Hugo first met when Hugo came to help build Neti’s house, which was on stilts, and this is where their collaborative artistic work started. Their work and styles intermingle, layers are made up from Hugo’s simples lines and Neti’s shapes, a transformative alchemy occurs as Neti paints the successive layers in her own style. It is perhaps their shared background in theatre that influences their art practice.
