A group of a vertical shuttle, and four bobbins as seats. The dimensions are those of the shuttle. The bobbins are 64 cm x 50 cm x 50 cm each. The sculpture was made to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Lancashire Cotton Famine and reflects the importance of the industry in the area in which Farington textile mill once stood.
