Eugénie Droz founded the publishing house Librairie Droz in Paris in 1924. She was also a Renaissance scholar; the leading figure in the advancement of scholarship on fifteenth century poetry and song in the early twentieth century (J. Alden, 2010). Droz researched and lectured at the Warburg Institute and admired its combination of erudition and comprehensibility. A room of the Warburg library is named after her. The work is framed, and located at the Warburg Institute.
