Two ancient and much-travelled sculptures set in niches above the entrance of a private house. Edgar (on the left) holds a sword and Coel (Offa) holds a sword. The niches are painted a rich brown. Edgar has lost his head and both hands. Coel's face is much worn and both hands have gone. Edgar's clothing is skirted and his beard (all that is left of his face) is divided whilst Coel's resembles armour. Most of his feet are missing.

The sculptures were originally sited on the north face of Inigo Jones' Town Hall of 1625 and then on the old Guildhall. They were removed when building work started on the new Guildhall in 1766.
