This mask, carved from a single piece of light and dark brown wood, was not designed to wear but is a decorative wall ornament. It is in the form of a demonic head with a tall and elaborate head-dress. The face has bulging eyes, a flat pig snout, fangs, tusks and facial hair, and a protruding tongue and teeth. The headdress is a three-tiered crown. The bottom tier is a crown of floral and leaf designs, while the upper tiers are a cylinder with two holes pierced above and two below a circular band with a flower at the front. The crown has a wing on each side which rises to the full height of the headdress.
