A square panel of natural linen worked with three rows of crosses made up of blocks of darning stitch and four isolated blocks of the same and four of isolated motifs (two stylised floral, two coronets). The makers name and date are embroidered centrally in cross stitch worked in shades of fawn, green, cream and blue. The edges are hemmed and the piece has been mounted onto backing fabric.
