A large steel acorn with standing oak leaf which carries verse of a poem. Engagement sessions were held in the secondary school, local youth groups, and writing group. Images, relief work and poetry form the 'leaf galls' on the reverse of the oakleaf, and the poem 'Cherish Life' became the sculpture's title.
