A figure of a standing Buddha with his hands extended in a double abhaya mudrā (the gesture of reassurance or 'forbidding the relatives'). Made of gilded, cast bronze with a lacquered and gilt wooden pedestal consisting of a lotus flower on three circular tiers of receding size.
