Three Roman heads clad in decorative helmets, set on rough-hewn wooden plinths. Links to local archaeological digs of the area have found both Roman and an iron age settlements. Clarke commented to the magazine '3rd Dimension' that this work emerges from a fusion of many influences and 'is semi-armorial – a hybrid of historical, medieval, sci-fi, African Art – it is futuristic, yet mythological. It refers to the past, but looks to the future'. Originally a group of three, the tallest 'male' has now been removed this also had a plaque attached.
