A slim, cone-shaped tower of open metalwork, with cast-iron objects welded all over the frame. There are six layers to the needle and the the objects are arranged within each layer according to senses such as touch or hearing, including the 'mysterious sixth sense'. The items have a predominately maritime theme. A bell hangs inside.
