A bespoke curved seat, located to allow views down the valley. It references the poem 'Rhymney' by the renowned locally born poet Idris Davies and resonates with the nearby library sculpture which resembles an open book. Echoing the sculpture, it incorporates forged metal hawthorn leaves and ferns, forming an armrest, and the third and fourth lines from the poem are engraved into the seat.
