World Scout Jamborees are international and Scouts from all over the world attend. In 1957 the UK hosted the 9th World Scout Jamboree to mark 50 years of Scouting and the Centenary of its Founder. In 2007 the UK again hosted the World Scout Jamboree, marking the Centenary of Scouting. It was held at Hylands Park, Chelmsford.
