Inscription description
190. 23. In the collection of Lady Impey at Calcutta. Painted by (Shaikh Zayn-al-Din) native of Patna. Encircled D, the stamp of the Earl of Derby. The Persian inscription reads 'lankar datakht chimi' which is the name of the tree and 'bhu'akhur' which is the Persian name for cuckoo.
