He has shoulder length hair and a beard, with two coils of his beard reaching down to his chest. He wears an inner garment which is gathered with a belt. He also has a cloak like outer garment. He holds a book clasped in both hands; right hand on top, left on bottom. Of his feet only two right toes remain. If the cylindrical object held in the left hand, between hand and book, can be considered a fuller's club, this statue may then depict Saint James the Less.
