Inscription description

incised around three sides of base: "AND SO HE PASSED OVER, / AND ALL THE TRUMPETS SOUNDED FOR / HIM ON THE OTHER SIDE."; in raised metal letters on the base: 54 names of those who died in the the First World War, and 54 who served and returned; and on the tablet below: the names of 10 men who died in the Second World War, and 10 who served and returned
