Harry Tittensor
1887–1942
Tittensor was born in Burslem, Staffordshire, the son of a working potter. He was apprenticed as a designer with the pottery firm, Doulton & Co, Stoke-on-Trent, in 1902, while also studying at Burslem School of Art.
