Derek Roberts
b.1947
Painter, born in Berwick-upon-Tweed, Northumberland. He studied at Edinburgh College of Art, 1966–71, after which he lived in the Pentland Hills. Although Roberts’ work was abstract, in it he strove to find an equivalent for the harmony of nature around him.
