Frederick William Pomeroy

1856–1924

Frederick William Pomeroy [also known as F.W. Pomeroy] was born in Lambeth, Surrey [now London], England on 9 October 1856. He studied at Lambeth School of Art and, from 1881 to 1885, at the Royal Academy Schools in London where he won both a gold medal and a travel scholarship.
