James H. P. Neal
1918–2011
Painter and draughtsman, born in London, who studied at St Martin’s School of Art and Royal College of Art. He showed at RA, RSA, NEAC, LG and Redfern Gallery and after settling in Hull in the 1950s was a founder-member of the Avenues Group.
