William Hunter Littlejohn
1929–2006
Painter and teacher, born in Arbroath, Angus, where he eventually settled. He studied at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee, 1946–50, and won the RSA Guthrie Award in 1961; the Cargill Award of the Royal Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts followed in 1966 and 1990.
