Jacob Bornfriend
1904–1976
Painter in oil and tempera, mainly of landscape and still life. Born in Zborov, Czechoslovakia (as Bauernfreund, later Anglicised), he was educated at the Academy of Fine Arts, Prague, 1930–5, under Willi Nowak.
