Artist who employed collage and paint on cardboard, and teacher, born and based in Stoke-on-Trent area, Staffordshire. The parks and products of the Potteries area were frequent subjects. Wild studied at Burslem Art School, 1958–63, later teaching experience including North Staffordshire Polytechnic. Group exhibitions included Northern Young Contemporaries, Whitworth Art Gallery in Manchester, 1962–3; John Moores Liverpool Exhibition at Walker Art Gallery, 1978; Midland View at Midland Group Gallery, Nottingham, 1980; and Summer Show 3 at Serpentine Gallery, 1982. Arts Council holds his work.
