Painter and teacher, born in Cardiff, who studied at the Slade School of Fine Art, 1986–93, gaining a class one honours degree and postgraduate higher diploma, teachers including Bruce McLean, Paul Richards and John Hoyland. Webster was a teaching fellow at Cardiff University Institute, 1993–4, then was a self-employed artist working part-time at that Institute and Aberystwyth University, also holding workshops and residencies. Awards included Duveen Travel Scholarship, Spain, 1991; WAC travel grants to Italy and Greece, 1996; and British School at Rome Abbey Award in Painting, 1997. She was a member of GOYA (Generating Opportunities for Young Artists in Europe). Group shows included Into the Nineties, Mall Galleries, 1991, and 9th Mostyn Open, Oriel Mostyn, Llandudno, 1997–8.
