Architect and watercolourist, noted for marine pictures, born in Darwen, Lancashire, who attended Hull School of Architecture, becoming an associate of RIBA in 1965. He was principal architect for Humberside County Council and settled in the county at Beverley. Verity was elected to RSMA in 1975 and shows included Beverley Art Gallery, Francis Iles Gallery in Rochester and Ferens Art Gallery, Hull. National Maritime Museum in Greenwich holds his work.
