Painter, notably of portraits, born in Andover, Hampshire. Studied at Southampton School of Art, 1895, and Andover School of Art, 1900. Showed at RA, UA of which he was a member, RBA and elsewhere, including Royal Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts, 1954–60. Russell-Cotes Art Gallery and Museum, Bournemouth, holds his work, which was sometimes signed W T in monogram form. Lived in Liskeard, Cornwall.
