Artist who graduated with honours in art history at the University of East Anglia, Norwich, 1973. After working at the Victoria & Albert Museum and as a freelance exhibition organiser and art editor, Ryan gained an honours degree in fine art and won a Tooth Travel Scholarship, both in 1996. Her group shows included Intimate, Jason & Rhodes, 1997; Textures of Memory, Angel Row Gallery, Nottingham, and tour, 1999–00; and New Paintings, Hirschl Contemporary Art, 2001. Among her solo shows was one at the Old Mayor’s Parlour Gallery, Hereford, in 1999.
