Painter of flowers andlandscapes who travelled widely. She was the daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Connaught and grand-daughter of Queen Victoria. Her full name was HRH Princess (later renounced) Victoria Patricia Helena Elizabeth; she married Admiral The Hon. Sir Alexander Ramsay in 1919. As well as being a member of RWS, RWA and NEAC, she showed extensively at Goupil Gallery, also at RA, Fine Art Society and elsewhere. HM Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother lent Dans le Midi by Ramsay to the NEAC centenary exhibition at Christie’s in 1986. Lived at both Clarence House and Windlesham, Surrey.
