Sculptor, medallist and lecturer, born in Woking, Surrey, producing “mainly bronze human figures, also fountains, some based on plant forms.” From 1955–7, she attended the City & Guilds of London Art School, studying with David McFall, James Butler and Rodney Burn, also with with Eric Schilsky at Edinburgh College of Art. Won a Beckwith Travelling Scholarship, 1957; Bronze Medal and Certificate of Merit, both 1961; and Feodora Gleichen Award, 1964. Was assistant art mistress at Elmhurst Ballet School, 1961–2; assistant sculpture lecturer at the City & Guilds, 1964–74; and assistant lecturer, art department, Twickenham College of Technology, 1970–2. Elected associate of RBS, 1965, fellow, 1972. Took part in extensive mixed shows, including RA Summer Exhibition, from 1959; SPS, 1960; Royal Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts, from 1960; RSA, 1963; NEAC, 1965; Marjorie Parr Gallery, from 1968; RWA, from 1969; Wills Lane Gallery, St Ives, Cornwall, 1973; Mignon Gallery, Bath, 1977; Tib Lane Gallery, Manchester, 1979; New Ashgate Gallery, Farnham, from 1986; Armstrong-Davis Gallery, Arundel, from 1992, and elsewhere.
