
Printezis was born in Athens in 1942. He studied cinema staging and worked for the Greek Film industry. He speaks four languages.
After working for three years in Paris, he returned to Athens, working for Sabena Airlines for 30 years. He dedicated his free time to painting.
After retirement, Printezis moved to Scotland and could spend more time making art. Bright colours and geometric shapes feature predominantly in his works, often on three-dimensional wooden structures. He has had several solo exhibitions and featured in many group exhibitions.
