Sculptor, born in Worthing, Sussex. After doing various jobs in London and Paris in her twenties, Pragnell moved to Glasgow in the early 1970s, from 1981–5 studying in the mural and stained glass department at the College of Art there. In 1988 she was artist-in-residence at the Glasgow Garden Festival. Pragnell showed in mixed exhibitions in Scotland from the mid-1980s, although sometimes her works were specifically designed for a site, being created from natural materials. Tree Pods and Storm were featured in the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art 1989–90 Scottish Art since 1900 show. Pragnell died at Dumfries.
