Artist in a variety of media and teacher who studied at St Martin’s School of Art and Royal Academy Schools. Group exhibitions included Serpentine Gallery, 1973, Arts Council’s British Painting ’74, in 1974, and abroad. Had a solo exhibition at New Art Centre in 1961; in 1972 at Liverpool’s Bluecoat Gallery and the Academy’s Gallery; at Bede Gallery, Jarrow; and in 1989 at University of Liverpool’s Senate House Gallery. Began lecturing in visual studies department of Manchester Polytechnic, 1974, later being senior lecturer at its Medlock Fine Art Centre.
