Artist interested in painting wildlife in its natural surroundings, born in Accrington, Lancashire. He attended Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School in Blackburn, then took a degree in marine biology at Liverpool University and gained his doctorate for work in the Isle of Man. He settled there after some years on Scotland’s west coast. Paul was a self-taught artist whose work was sold in limited-edition prints by Halcyon Gallery, Birmingham.
