
Artist and teacher, born in Dublin, Ireland. She studied art privately and at Chelmsford School of Art, 1933–4. Married the painter Victor Pasmore. She taught at Sunderland College of Art, 1955–8, and Leeds College of Art, 1958–67. Showed with WIAC and LG, being a member of both. Retrospective show at Molton and Lords Galleries in 1963; in 1997 there was a 30-year one of free-flowing abstracts, limited-edition prints and collages at Air Gallery. Tate Gallery, Arts Council and Leeds Education Committee hold Pasmore’s work. Lived latterly in Gudja, Malta, and London.
