Painter who was born in Shipley, Yorkshire, studying at Bradford College of Art, 1951–4. Was a member of AIA, exhibiting at RA, SEA and RWA, having solo shows in London, the provinces and abroad. Public galleries in Brighton and Glasgow hold examples. Lived in Polegate, near Eastbourne, Sussex.
