Painter who studied at Ruskin School of Art, in Oxford, then Royal Academy Schools, 1983–8. His work could be stylish, using an unusual palette, as seen in his picture The China Pond at Wallington, included in The Broad Horizon, Agnew, 1990. Oxley’s drawing of Temple of Apollo, Stourhead, had been commissioned by National Trust’s Foundation for Art and was included in the Agnew show The Long Perspective, in 1987.
