Artist and lecturer, born in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, who studied at Coventry College of Art, 1959–64, and Slade School of Fine Art, 1964–6, winning a Boise Travelling Scholarship in the latter year. Was technician at Wimbledon School of Art, 1966–7, then after a series of lectureships returned there in 1979. Group shows included LG, FBA Galleries, 1969; RA Summer Exhibition, from 1972; and Browse & Darby, 1980. Had a solo show at Angela Flowers Gallery, 1973, later ones including paintings, drawings, prints and wall hangings at Newport Museum and Art Gallery, Newport, 1997.
