Painter, born in London. Studied initially in Southampton, then at Hornsey School of Art under Frank Swinstead. During World War II served for several years as a camouflage officer with the Air Ministry. Was a member of the Savage Club and the London Sketch Club. Exhibited RA, RI, in other London galleries and at the Royal Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts. Lived in Totton, Hampshire.
