Artist, notably using sound tapes and slides, born in Marlborough, Wiltshire. He studied at Slade School of Fine Art, 1964–70, winning the Walter Neurath Prize in 1965 and a Boise Travelling Scholarship to Germany and Netherlands, 1970. In 1975 gained an Arts Council Major Award, Arts Council holding his work. Took part in Linguistic Structures at Arts Council, 1979, and was in Woodlands Art Gallery’s 1981–2 touring show of Greater London Arts Association award winners. Solo shows included Lisson Gallery, 1970, Robert Self Gallery in Newcastle and London, from 1975, and Ikon Gallery, Birmingham, 1981.
