Sculptor and teacher, born in Lancaster, who studied at Central School of Art, subsequently working as studio assistant to sculptors Brian Wall and Barry Flanagan. In 1974 he moved to Wales to work as lecturer at Dyfed College of Art, Carmarthen, being appointed head of sculpture in 1982. He showed widely around Wales, at Artsite Gallery in Bath and in 1986 was included in the Glynn Vivian Art Gallery & Museum, Swansea, show Seven Sculptors Working in Wales. That gallery bought his work Caryatid in 1984. Moss’s works were often small and used found objects such as sandstone pebbles.
