Painter of landscape and rural life whose exhibitions included Royal Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts and the RSA. Milne was one of the artists based in Cambuskenneth, near Stirling, celebrated there in 1978 by the Smith Art Gallery show The Artists of Craigmill and Cambuskenneth, concentrating on the period 1880–1920. In 2002, Christie’s, South Kensington, offered Milne’s typical A Shepherd and his Flock on a Country Path, from the Fleming-Wyfold Art Foundation collection.
