Painter and teacher, born in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. He attended the College of Art there and Reading University department of fine art. In 1954 began a series of teaching appointments, including head of School of Art in Rugby. Was art representative on the West Midlands Regional Council and honorary secretary of that area’s Art Principals’ Council for some years. Showed RA, RWA, Young Contemporaries, SEA, RCamA of which he was a member, LG and elsewhere. One-man shows included Gordon Waller Gallery, Coventry.
