Artist, born and lived in London. He studied at St Albans College of Art, 1984–5, Sheffield Polytechnic, 1985–8, and in the mid-1990s at Royal College of Art. In 1989 Martin was first prizewinner at MAFA; he won the Young Artist of the Year prize at Hunting/Observer Awards; and was included in the 1995–6 John Moores Liverpool Exhibition with an abstract oil and acrylic on canvas The Tyranny of Impressionism. Shared a show at Tricycle Gallery, 1993.
