Minimalist artist, born in Benalla, Victoria, Australia. He studied at St Martin’s School of Art, graduating with honours, 1977–81, then Royal College of Art, 1983, and gained his master’s degree at Goldsmiths’ College, 1985–6. Group exhibitions included Tolly Cobbold, Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge, 1983; Air Gallery, 1986; Cornerhouse, Manchester, 1988; Tony Shafrazi Gallery, New York, 1989; at Lisson Gallery, 1990; and John Moores Liverpool Exhibition, 2002. Had solo show at Gray Art Gallery, New York, 1986; Lisson Gallery and Tony Shafrazi, both 1987; Stichting De Appel, Amsterdam, 1988; and Kohji Ogura Gallery, Nagoya, Japan, 1989.
