Painter and illustrator who attended Heatherley’s School of Fine Art, then the Slade School of Fine Art under Henry Tonks and Walter Westley Russell. Work done during World War I was officially purchased and he published a number of books with war themes, such as Ballads of Battle and Captive at Carlsruhe. Lived in Dundee, Angus.
