Painter in oil and watercolour who was born and lived mostly in Newport, Monmouthshire, later in Weymouth, Dorset. Showed at RA and RWA. Hennah had a love of the countryside and liked making studies of less obviously picturesque aspects, such as farmyard corners, hedges and gravel pits. He painted a large number of gouaches of South Africa and was particularly attached to the Cornish fishing villages of Polperro and St lves.
