Painter, born in Glasgow, where he attended the School of Art, studying mural design and optical art. His studies of the human brain’s appreciation of colour and his mixing of colours not normally associated with each other contributed to the vibrant appearance of Graham’s canvases, as did the often exotic locations. Upon graduation Graham became a film editor with BBC for four years, although on returning to painting he continued to do freelance film work. After a holiday in Sardinia Graham held a solo show at Tricycle Gallery, 1986. As well as showing in many mixed exhibitions in Scotland and London Graham continued to hold regular solo shows, including Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, Singapore, 1990, where he was artist-in-residence under a British Council sponsorship; in 1991 at Flying Colours Gallery in Edinburgh and 90s Gallery, Glasgow; and Bourne Gallery, Reigate, a series, including 2003.
