Landscape paint-er, born in Bocking, Essex. Studied at Slade School of Fine Art and at Académie Julian in Paris, and was elected RBA in 1925. He was a prolific exhibitor there and at ROI and Fine Art Society, also showing at RA, Ridley Art Club, RSA and Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool. Lived in London.
