Painter, born in Liverpool, who studied at the College of Art there, 1973–6. He was Liverpool chairman of the British Art and Design Association. Duffy’s mixed show appearances included Contemporary Art Society art market; the Francis Graham-Dixon and Benjamin Rhodes Galleries; and in 1991–2 John Moores Exhibition, Liverpool, where he showed the abstract: The Miraculous Draught of Fishes. He showed solo at Air Gallery, 1981, Harris Museum and Art Gallery, Preston, where he had a North West Arts Major Fellowship, 1984; Laing Art Gallery in Newcastle upon Tyne, 1989; and The New Millennium Gallery, St Ives, 1997. Lived in the Wirral Peninsula, also having a studio in east London.
