Self-taught figurative sculptor, born in Cairo, Egypt, of a Greek father and French mother, moving to England during the Suez Crisis of 1956. He obtained an honours degree in literature from University of Essex, 1973, and was an advertising copywriter for the agency Foote, Cone & Belding, 1974–89. In the latter year he took his first studio as a professional sculptor in Brighton, Sussex, where he continued to live. Exhibitions included Tryon Gallery from 1990; Garrard, 1991; Harrods, 1991–2; South Bank Centre National Touring Exhibition, 1995; and in 1996 Beaux Arts in Bath and 2nd RWA Open Sculpture Exhibition.
